Much like Storm Claudia swept through the northwest the night before, Manchester City overwhelmed United away at the Etihad. It was a emphatic 3-0 triumph for the City coach's side due to goals from Knaak, Bunny Shaw and Hemp. It was a result that clearly signaled their title credentials as they strengthened their standing at the WSL pinnacle.

Consecutive Losses for United

This scoreline marked back-to-back league setbacks for the United manager's side for the maiden instance since May 2024, placing them a significant margin off the table toppers with their title hopes in serious doubt.
